 Aria 2, for trumpet and piano, will be given its 1st performance on 21 September by Fraser Tannock, trumpet, and Terence Allbright, piano, at the Friends'    
 Meeting House, Brighton.

 Souvenirs of Sussex, for 8 voices, will be performed on 21 October at the Old Chapel, Alfriston, and on 11 November at Bridge Cottage, Uckfield.

 Fragile Moment, for bass clarinet, cello and marimba, will be performed by the Riot Ensemble on 28 October at St Nicholas' Church, Brighton.

2005

Secondary Lines was premiered on 8 February by Steve Dummer, clarinet, and Yoko Ono, piano, at a Chapel Royal, Brighton, Lunchtime Concert.

.....un dolce lume..... for 16 solo strings received its first performance on 12 February by the Musicians of All Saints, conducted by Andrew Sherwood, in Lewes.

My regards to Mr Gibbons for violin, viola & double bass was included in a series of concerts given by Archaea (Stuart Deeks, violin, Ellie Blackshaw, viola, Stephen Phillips, double bass) with performances in Brighton (1 April), Lewes (4 April) and Wadhurst (22 April).

Brake Drum Assembly gave the first performance of Rhythm of Black Lines for 8 brake drums + tam-tam on 12 May at the Sussex Arts Club, Brighton. They gave a further performance at the Bartok Bar, Camden, London, on 29 June.

...dreams, shadows, and smoke for flute, viola & guitar was premiered in Brighton on 15 May by Rachel Smith, flute, Ellie Blackshaw, viola, and Paul Gregory, guitar.

Canzone for solo double bass was given its first performance by its dedicatee, Stephen Phillips on 1 July, in Brighton. He gave further performances in Lewes (4 July) and Wadhurst (8 July).

Passages IX for guitar duo was premiered on 28 October in Brighton by David Jenner & Jon Rattenbury.

Invention (Passages VIII) for bass trombone received its first performance at the Sydney Conservatorium, NSW, Australia, on 31 October by its dedicatee, Jonathan Warburton.

Andrew Melvin, piano, gave the first performance of Haiku at The Steyning Centre on 20 November.

 

2006

Jonathan Warburton gave another performance of Invention (Passages VIII) for bass trombone at New Mexico State University on 10 February.

On 8 March Corale Interrotto was given its first performance by the piano duo, Glen Capra and Kevin Allen in Brighton.

On 13 March Hauptweg und Nebenwege, performed by the Luxembourg Sinfonietta, conducted by Marcel Wengler, was broadcast by Centralzender (Netherlands).

Nexus received its first performance on 21 March, by students from Blatchington Mill School and Longhill School, at Blatchington Mill School, Hove.

On 25 March Rhythm of Black Lines was performed by Brake Drum Assembly at St Leonard’s Church, Shoreditch.

Brake Drum Assembly gave another performance of Rhythm of Black Lines on 2 May at the Sussex Arts Club, Brighton.

Concatenation, slightly revised from its original (2000) version, was performed by members of Talkestra (Steve Dummer, clarinet, Evgeny Chebykin, horn, James Widden, violin, and Alison Holford, cello) on 13 June in Shoreham-by-Sea (Adur Festival).

Objects in Space was included as the final work in a concert given in Brighton's Jubilee Library on 30 September by CoMA Sussex and New Music Brighton,  with other guest performers, including members of The Hola and CoMA South (Southampton). The event was part of Brighton Live 2006.

Rhythm of Black Lines was performed in Huddersfield by Brake Drum Assembly on 24 November, at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival Hub (Lawrence Batley Theatre), and on 26 November in St Thomas' Church.

CoMA Sussex, directed by Steve Dummer, gave the 1st performance of Elaborations on 3 December at The Friends' Meeting House, Brighton.

Towards Equilibrium received it first performance on 7 December in the Meeting House, University of Sussex, by the University of Sussex 21st Century Ensemble conducted by Ben Oliver.

 

2007

22 May: Objects in Space and Canzona (for Double Bass) were performed by members of Talkestra in Brighton at Brighton Unitarian Church.

27 May: A Klee Diptych was given its first complete performance at The Friends' Meeting House, Brighton, by Steve Dummer, clarinet, and Yoko Ono, piano.

18 June: Quartet Movement (first performance) + Rhythm of Black Lines were performed by Brake Drum Assembly in St Nicholas' Church, Brighton in a concert given during the first Soundwaves Festival.

22 June: Towards Equilibrium was performed in a slightly revised version at The Old Market, Hove, by the University of Sussex 21st Century Ensemble as part of Soundwaves Festival 2007.

22 July: Quartet Movement + Rhythm of Black Lines were performed by Brake Drum Assembly at Doncaster College [COMA Festival Summer School].

28 July: dreams, shadows, and smoke was given its first performance in its original form for flute, viola and harp by the Trio Taffanel (Rachel Smith, flute, Virginia Slater, viola, and Jean Kelly, harp, in the Westgate Chapel, Lewes.

 

2008

10 May: Jamie Crofts performed Haiku for piano at the Friends Meeting House, Brighton (Brighton Festival Fringe).

12 May: Talkestra performed Colloquy and Concatenation at the Friends Meeting House, Brighton (Brighton Festival Fringe).

20 September 2008: Musicians of All Saints, conducted by Andrew Sherwood, gave the second performance of ......un dolce lume....... at the All Saints' Centre, Lewes, East Sussex in the opening concert of their 2008/9 season 'Celebrating Sussex Composers'.

During 2007/2008 Jonathan Warburton gave performances of Invention (Passages VIII) for bass trombone in South Africa (Cape Town), Poland (Krakow), the Ukraine, the United States (including New York, the Julliard School of Music, and Orlando) and Canada (Vancouver).

 

2009

14 February: Adam Swayne performed Piano Pie at the Friends Meeting House, Brighton.

28 February: Brake Drum Assembly gave another performance of Rhythm of Black Lines at the Henry Wood Hall, London.

6 March: Adam Swayne gave another performance of Piano Pie in the Chapel at the University of Chichester.

29 March: First performance of Instruments and Voices by the CoMA Sussex Ensemble and Chichester University Contemporary Music Group, in the Chapel at the University of Chichester.

Sunday 24 May: Objects in Space was performed at the Clarendon Centre, New England Street, Brighton (part of a music programme accompanying an Open House art exhibition).

Sunday 30 August: Instruments and Voices was performed in Arundel Cathedral (Arundel Music at Arundel Town Festival) by members of CoMA Sussex, Chichester University Contemporary Music Group, Horsham Symphony Orchestra, Worthing Philharmonic Orchestra, Arun Choral Society, Angmering Chorale, Boundstone Community Chorus and Worthing Choral Society, directed by Adam Swayne.

In October Jonathan Warburton performed Invention (Passages VIII) for bass trombone at the Boston Conservatory (23rd) and at the New England Conservatory (26th).

 

2010

8 March: My regards to Mr Gibbons was performed by Concresence at the Old Steiner School, Ditchling Road, Brighton.

22 October: Terence Allbright and Adam Swayne performed Conjugation  ...a little journey... for two pianos in the Chapel of Chichester University, West Sussex.

2011

20 January: Quartet Movement, in a version for two percussion players, was performed by Adam Bushell and Tom Norrell at the Friends' Meeting House, Brighton.

10 April: Instruments and Voices was performed by CoMA Sussex Ensemble, CoMA Sussex Voices and members of Chichester University Contemporary Music Group in St John sub Castro Church, Lewes, East Sussex.

April: Rhythm of Black Lines was included in a workshop, directed by Paul Burmell, held during the Northern Recorder Course (14- 21 April) at Bawtry Hall, Nr Doncaster.

2012

The first performance of String Quartet was given on 12 February, 2012 at the Friends' Meeting House, Brighton, by the Regency Ensemble, (Gabrielle Painter & Helena Smart, violins, Rachel Dyker, viola, Alexandra Mackenzie, cello). 

Objects in space was performed by CoMA Sussex ensemble and Chichester University Contemporary Music Group on 9 March 2012 in the Chapel of the Ascension, Chichester University.

On 15 March 2012, Steve Dummer (clarinet) and Yoko Ono (piano) performed A Klee Diptych (for MOOT - music of our time - at the Friends Meeting House, Brighton) 

piano, violin and cello was given its first performance by Adam Swayne (piano), Ellie Blackshaw (violin) and Peter Copley (cello) on 30 June at the Friends Meeting House, Brighton.


2013


In January Jonathan Warburton gave a further performance of Invention (Passages VIII) for bass trombone in Montreal, Canada.

jeu de cartes was performed at the 2013 CoMA Summer School (3- 9 August 2013)

Tramezzino al cagliata di limone for soprano, alto flute and piano (four hands) received its first performance on Thursday, 31 October 2013 at the Friends Meeting House, Brighton, in a concert given by the Riot Ensemble.

2014


13 April:
Passges X+ was given its first performance by Angie Wilson, cello, and CoMA Sussex Ensemble at St John sub Castro Church, Lewes, East Sussex.

27 April: ... a l'armonia si intento ... was given a workshop performance at the University of Chichester Cello Weekend

27 September: Passages IV for vocalist was performed by Jevon Antoni-Jay at the Church of the Annunciation, Brighton.

14 October:
The second version, for clarinet and string quartet, of A Klee Diptych was given its first performance by Timothy Orpen, clarinet, and the Gildas String Quartet at the Friends Meeting House, Brighton.

25 October 2014: Fanfare in 3 Parts was given two performances by CoMA Sussex Ensemble during a day of concerts given at St John's, Smith Square, London to celebrate 21 years of CoMA - Contemprary Music for All).

30 November 2014: Fanfare in 3 Parts was performed by CoMA Sussex Ensemble at The Shoreham Centre, Shoreham-by-Sea.

2015
 
28 June 2015: CoMA Sussex ensemble gave the first performance of Rhythm of Black Lines (2015 version for mixed ensemble) at St John-sub-castro church, Lewes.

31 October: ... dreams, shadows, and smoke for flute, viola and harp, was performed by The Riot Ensemble at St Nicholas' Church, Brighton.

2016

8 January:  ... dreams, shadows, and smoke for flute, viola and harp was performed by The Riot Ensemble during In Tune on BBC Radio Three, broadcast live from Tate Modern, London.

2 July: Trichotomy, in the alternative version for clarinet, cello and piano, was given its first performance by Talkestra (Steve Dummer, clarinet, Val Welbanks, cello, and Juliet Edwards, piano, at the Friends Meeting House, Brighton.

19 July: Untitled 2016.2 for piano was given its first performance by Adam Swayne, the work's dedicatee, at the Chapel Royal, Brighton and a second performance, also by Adam Swayne, on

11 August at St James' Church, Poole.

17 September: Untitled (2013) for orchestra and three conjugations for flexible ensemble were each given their first perfomance by CoMA Sussex at St Mary de Haura church, Shoreham-by-Sea

29 October: 90 seconds for flute, vibraphone, piano and viola was given its first performance by The Riot Ensemble at St Nicholas' Church, Brighton

2017

13 January: piano, violin & cello was performed by the Ireland Trio at St Luke's Church, Queen's Park, Brighton.

17 March:
un nœud des serpents for two pianos and mixed ensemble was given its first performance by the University of Chichester Sinfonietta in the Universlty's Chapel of the Ascension.

19 March: Adam Swayne (piano) performed Haiku during Brighton & Hove's Springboard Festival, at Brighton & Hove High School.

18 May
: The sexual politics of CoMA was given its 1st performance by CoMA Sussex, at The Brunswick, Hove.


2 July: CoMA Sussex gave a second performance of
The sexual politics of CoMA at the East Sussex Music Academy, Lewes.

2 July: Envoi - for Adam Swayne on his departure from CoMA Sussex was given its 1st performance by CoMA Sussex at the East Sussex Music Academy, Lewes.
